Event Description

JUNE 4th

Saturday 5-9pm
LEAF Farm to Table
Fundraising Dinner

Our first ever Farm to Table Dinner will be held in our Niles Center Garden on June 4th.

Please join us for a night of dining and dancing under the stars!

If you think a strong local food economy is an important step toward a sustainable future then join us for a sumptuous, open air feast at LEAF Center Garden the evening of June 4th. Well-known chefs from Fremont's local, independent restaurants will take turns feeding your body and your soul with sumptuous dishes using local ingredients from our gardens and other Fremont farms. There will be live music, local wine, and regional luminaries to inspire your heart.

Building on LEAF's success creating four vibrant community gardens around town, funds raised at this dinner will go toward establishing a fifth garden at the 21-acre Mission Adobe Park. LEAF is working closely with the City to ensure this community treasure, which has hosted plant nurseries since 1884, continues to serve our community.

We are looking forward to having you at LEAF’s Farm to Table Fundraising Dinner on Saturday June 4th from 5 to 9pm at the LEAF garden in Downtown Niles, 37753 Niles Blvd.  We will be setting up tents at the garden in the case of rain.  There will be live music throughout the evening and local master chefs will create vegetarian and lamb entrees from locally sourced and organic produce.  LEAF is dedicated to building community and restoring ecology.  Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the dinner.

Help us grow!

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
