I would like to have a meeting sometime soon to talk about what the next steps will be for the volunteer nursery operations. I have already swept one of the greenhouses and trimmed down the metal grates a little so we can get the ladder in there to open and close the vents etc.

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000. 

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
