That sounds good to me. We also need some to fill in over the areas that I have cardboard sheet mulched in order to finish that off also. Sandra can you maybe call and set up a delivery to the garden and hook up with Ed so that he could go by and open the gate when they come to deliver the load. It would be way cool to make this happen, Let me know. Thanks, Steve

I can be on call to open the gate. Let's get some to use as weed cover between rows.

I got some for my yard one year and it filled up the area next to my driveway all the way to the street and 2 to 3 feet high. Thats over 8 feet long by about 4 feet wide.

Sandra,
Did it say how big the load would be? We could sure use some at the garden. The problem for me is that I can not get over there during the week to open the gate as I have to work.

I found this Craigslist posting.

Free delivery to Fremont/Newark/Union City/Hayward/East Bay Hills and Peninsula.

Chips include leaves.

Leaves will disintegrate after about a month.

Call Best Tree Services at 510-790-6422 or 650-322-2102.

Dwight - We'll keep things growning there. I've been out for a couple of weeks with a bum shoulder but picked some of the NZ spinach. It's still tasty. Winter veggies are coming on, so if time permits, come out to share the harvest.

Folks, I've started a new job that has lots of overtime and is tiring. So, the little plot that I planted there, with the wood borders, with the NZ spinach run wild, next to where the corn was growing, can be repurposed for someone else's needs.

I have not been able to get out there for a while now. I appreciated the chance to get out there and do some hard work and try my hand at gardening.
