"You might consider calcium (basic alkaline chalk).  OK for chickens and grit, and sweeten up soil.  Orchard fruit trees like the sweetness.  Might also help your tartness.  Definitely picks up the greenery and lushness,…"

I enjoy landscaping and growing vegetables. I have some experience with small animals (rabbits and chickens), and I so wish I could have a goat. If you raise meat rabbits, please connect with me as I'd love to pick your brain.

PROJECTS

Deer Fencing - Now that my husband and I have a baby (08/2011), we need to baby-proof the backyard. That means we need to partition the backyard so as to keep not chickens in their own area.
