Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I notice the city removed the last hemskirk apricot in the rear orchard recently. Don't worry Pursch Park Orchard in San Jose has one! Bill Merrill can obtain scion wood for and graft a replacement tree(s). I have a greek fir growing to replace the one that perished. I'm looking forward to the new vision if fate allows! What a great time to make it happen....

Bruce, I sent an e-mail to Lorna mid-November with the three questions to consider when selecting a logo.

- Does it work equally as well in B&W as color?
- Does it read equally as well in very small reproductions and large?
- Is it easily reproduced in various media, i.e., digital media, screen printing, embroidery?

Bruce, I can't wait to share my new website with you. It is scheduled to launch next month . I want to get together with you and learn more about what you are doing. Your facility there may be an ideal location for some of the things I would like to do. I would love to get together in January some time. I am going to Hawaii, but will be back the latter part of January. So glad to be a part of this group!

Bruce, I have sent an e-mail to your hotmail account with a pdf attached. As promised I finished the refinement of the logo concept and created a one page spread showing typical applications.

Thanks for the update Bruce. I fully understand and find it exciting that other people wish to be involved. That is a good thing!
As I mentioned to Michael (Joss) some final refinements need to be made to the hand/leaf logo. I'm not completely satisfied with proportions on the fingers, etc., but that can come later should this concept be chosen. Keep me informed and I will proceed accordingly.

Help us grow!

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
