March 20th at LEAF

It was a sunny day at LEAF.  It was pretty warm.  The Circular Garden was full of produce.  We picked celery, radishes, snap peas, lettuce, broccoli, carrots, spinach.  There was still more to pick!  We got more than half a wheelbarrow full of weeds!  The weeds were from the Circular Garden.  Both the rectangular garden and the raised bed still need to be weeded even though we were there for 2 1/2 hours.  We saw a few white butterflies and some wasps.  Spring is back!    --- MikaelaSee More

SUPPORT LEAF

Help us grow!

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
