For those of you who don't already know, the Alameda County Master Gardeners have begun establishing a demonstration garden at Quarry Lakes in Fremont. They have already been working to prepare the site, including laying irrigation lines and amending the soil, and are getting ready for planting now!

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000.
If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
