Thanks for joining Sarika! I can already see you have a lot of ideas and energy. I'm especially interested in your idea of collecting fruit from trees around the city - aka gleaning. Other places, like Portland, have some great ways of doing this, where a group collects all the fruit, splits 10% of the harvest among themselves, and donates the rest to local food banks. It's not that we have a dearth of food, its just that we need a better system of collecting and distributing it locally.
