Why did you decide to join this group?
I've always been interested in growing my own produce but I've never had the space or knowledge. I'd like to acquire some skills and learn more about sustainable agriculture. I heard about your community gardens through Shashi Chittle and I'd love to take part!

Where: Mission Adobe Park Rose Garden When: Saturdays, 9-12 AM, February 4 and February 11 Why?: To work and have fun and some food and do pruning            upkeep of a historic Rose Garden Who: Anyone who likes gardening, has a pair of gloves. The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000. 

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
