"Vanessa, I just heard the SLOW potluck was canceled due to not enough attending. I'm partly to blame since I had to cancel - an old friend is coming in from Seattle and will be with me that night. I was so looking forward to it!"

Hi Vanessa!

I'm so glad to see you're now a LEAF member. I don't think our next event, a yard swap, on Saturday, will be of much interest to you. The following one I'm working on is our annual event on August 11th. By then you'll probably already know a lot of people. It promises to be a fun foodie networking event at Westover Winery in Sunol, with lots of wholesome food, plus entertainment provided by local musicians. We'll be marketing it in the next couple of weeks.

Have fun growing veggies at the nursery site with your kids!
