Mia Mora said… Hi Jennifer,
I see that you've joined LEAF. We have an event coming up this Saturday, when you can meet other LEAF members. Check out the 'Events' section of the website - on May 5th, there's a swap of garden-related items. If you make it to the swap, please introduce yourself to me, I'd like to meet you!
You can also drop by the garden on Niles Boulevard any Saturday or Sunday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and join in whatever gardening activities are in progress. Our nursery manager, Wes Mills, will be there. You can also purchase veggie seedlings - they're a steal at $3/6 pak.
Let me know if you'd be interested in volunteering at future LEAF events. It's a good way to become part of the LEAF community!
Happy gardening,
Mia Mora
LEAF Events Coordinator
