LEAF - Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont

Good afternoon LEAFers,

I'm taking an environmental biology course at Ohlone. We are conducting an experiment growing vegetables (kale, watercress, basil, etc.) and farming tilapias. I'd be grateful if anyone can share info., tips, experiences about aquaponics whether you were successful or not. My email is WriteAnh@gmail.com

Thank you in advance,

Anh

We have not gotten in to aquaponics yet but we have had some success with an EZ-cloner and have developed roots from cuttings fairly quickly. We will be setting up an ebb and flow system at a later date. Thanks,  Steve

Help us grow!

The City of Fremont has approved our plans to build community gardens in the old Mission Adobe Nursery, but this plan is contingent on our ability to raise $30,000

If we can raise $15,000 from the local community, StopWaste.Org will provide us with a matching grant of $15,000.
